I am a graduate of Ashland University where I majored in Hotel/ Restaurant Management. My career in Hotel Management spans from Night Manager of a Ramada Inn in Colorado Springs, Colorado to my latest position as District General Manager with Hyatt Select Hotels here in Columbus. In all my positions I oversaw the Housekeeping Departments and took great pride in well trained associates and sparkling clean rooms and of course exemplary customer service.

I was born and raised outside of Akron in a small rural town called Clinton, Ohio. My Grandparents Peter and Mary Zuni owned a farm there spanning nearly 100 acres. My fondest memories as a child are the hours spent with my Grandmother tending to her acres of flowers she grew each spring and summer. We would load the truck each Saturday morning to head to farmers market with glass jars filled with gladiolas, zinnia and dahlias to name just a few. I have had a great passion and admiration for nature and gardening every since. I find great peace and tranquility tending to my yard, garden and patio container gardens. I always bring the beauty of nature indoors with flowers and plants to enjoy year round and to remind me of my Grandmother.

My Grandmother lived to be 100 years old and lived alone until she passed away in the spring of 2005. Upon her death her kitchen table was filled with flats of Hungarian Wax pepper plants that she had started to grow from seed as she did every year. My Grandmother has always been my inspiration and I have found myself even more drawn to nature and flowers since her death and decided to couple my experience in hotel housekeeping and customer service with my passion for nature, thus the birth of Lotus Floral Concepts.

I recently graduated from the Rittners Floral School in Boston, Massachusetts and am currently employed part time with a local florist as a Floral Designer as well as with the largest landscape company in Franklin County specializing in floral design and container gardens.

I hope to have the opportunity to share with you my Intention: To Beautify And Refresh Your Home And Your Spirit.
